Those who'd like my imaginary recording opinions can look at the WFMU year-end imaginary best-of lists that I do every year.

What is the total amount of music files on your computer?iTunes says I have 5382 songs in there - 29.2 G, but there's lots of redundancy, and some of them are radio broadcasts that haven't been chopped up into songs, and there's some spoken word in there too. Nevertheless, that's a lot of audio.

The CD you last bought?Bought? hmmm! Maybe that great Carl Sandburg collection by Dan Zanes. A lot of kid stuff comes into this house.
The last recordings handed to me by those responsible were:
— an early mix of the just released "EARLY" from the American Festival of Microtonal Music (I am the webmaster), and
Laurie Spiegel's OBSOLETE SYSTEMS.
— I have to mention our own Love Is So Sweet video, featuring A.., red eft and Garage Band.

What is the song you last listened to before reading this message? The soundtrack of Sondheim's INTO THE WOODS, in the car.

Write down 5 songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.pffft!
I occasionally listen my own stuff: overproduced outgoing phone machine messages, synthesizer experiments from the 80s and 90s, computer generated audio. See: my Mp3 pagesfor a good idea of that material.

Listening to WFMU keeps me happy and keeps me from buying anything, since the past few years of programming are mostly available via the archives.

Who are you going to pass this stick to (3 persons) and why?Do you mean "to whom shall I pass this chain letter quiz?" Nobody, that is, at least 3 nobodies.
